New to FV
Hello everyone.
I am new to FV but not so new to frugality or simple living.
I am a 42 year old divorced English women living in Maine.
Last year (2005) I got divorced and so my expenses doubled and then I lost my job. So I will be really counting the pennies to stay in this house while I get a job and my life back on track.
No kids but two very demanding fur babies.
I have loved reading through everyones posts - very inspiring.
Looking forward to joining in and posting more in the days to come.

Welcome! I just joined too. I'll be getting a divorce this year and I'm not looking forward to the change in income versus expenses.
I like yoga too. I find it works wonders for me healthwise.

Thanks again everyone for the welcomes - this is an awesome place to be.
eulac - good luck with your divorce - I hope it is as clean as mine. It's funny how things happen and the timing. Just 18 months ago I couldn't have handled the divorce well and when I lost my job I had almost cleared all debt and paid off my car loan so although things are hard now - they could have been so much harder.
Hang in there and you will do fine. It's amazing how much strength we have in us and what we can do when we need to.
Come to the village whenever you need to vent, share or just get a virtual grouphug.
