Dh just lost his job
It was somewhat unexpected. Although he has been networking and submitting resumes & such. I half wonder if his bosses got wind that he was applying elsewhere and decided to can him. With the crap that this company has pulled in the 6 mos that he's been there, I wouldn't be surprised.
Please cross your fingers that he gets a new job soon. I will be putting out some applications tomorrow too. Just to supplement us until he picks up something else.
UGH!
I feel sick.

Hang in there Heather!
I feel for you both. I lost my job about 2 months ago and the thing that keeps me going is knowing how much worse things would be if I hadn't already been cutting down and learning frugal ways.
This will be a temporary thing and if you manage to get something to help out that will be a bonus.
Will be thinking of you.

I'm so sorry Heather. Good luck to you both in finding new jobs.
If I might add some encouragement here...
A couple of years ago I worked for a very large trucking company. I made decent money, but I was miserable at that job. It was hard to get up every morning, and it basically took over my life. Well, I won't go into details here, but they jerked me around and gave me an ultimatum and I chose to leave. At the time I had no job prospects.
The day I walked out of that office I felt like I had a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. That was about 2 1/2 years ago, and I have never once, regretted my decision. I am a much happier person because of it.
I hope this event improves your lives.

Oh, how rotten. Hopefully this will open some wonderful new doors for your family. My best friends's husband got a much better job/situation last year when he was let go, just like I knew he would, and I'm sure your husband will too.
