    Default I can't believe it

I was in JoAnnes fabric and craft store today and they were putting out easter things! Talk about rushing the season.

They had out Valentines day things, St Patricks day things. But easter already............!

They just keep rushing things. Easter isn't until April 16th this year.

We consumers keep buying and not complaining so they will keep on doing it. It really is nutso. They say it's empty shelves they need to fill...well what did they used to do before they rammed the seasonal goodies down our throats?

We're barely out of Christmas. I wouldn't be too surprise to see 4th of July stuff out in March.

i usually don't get too bothered by stuff making it into craft stores early. i know micheals starts getting fall stuff around the beginning or middle of summer. the craft stores get things early so crafts can get things mafe ahead of times, really important for people that do craft fairs and the like.
however, i'm not overly thrilled that the store i work at has started getting summer stuff in and out onto the sales floor. who needs new outdoor lounge chairs the first week or january? even in VA it gets cold in january. very annoying.
i saw valenties day candy at walmart this morning. that's also a bit early, it's more than a month away. but nothing in the craft department for valentines day crafts

I remember hearing Christmas songs playing in Walmart in September.

That's one thing I hated when I worked at Michael's: The annoying (not good!) Christmas music they started playing in SEPTEMBER. I understand needing to have craft items out (so people have time to work on them) but everything else is just a bit much, imo.
