    Thumbs down I'm so cold

For the last two days I have been chilled to the bone. Nothing I do seems to warm me up. I wear my shoes all day and have even been sleeping with my houseshoes on! The strange part is that it is not even really cold outside or in the house, according to the thermostat!

I hope I'm not coming down with something.

    Hope you can stay healthy.

Our humidity is really high here, especially for this time of the year. It means we feel a whole lot colder than normal.

Drink some hot tea!!! It may work...it may not! I always feel warmer when I warm up from the inside out.

I hope you aren't getting sick. Maybe some hot chocolate can warm you.

Sometimes in the winter when I wear shoes my feet get too sweaty and it just makes my whole body cold. Maybe dressing in layers wearing warm socks and that tea Amy mentioned will help.

Also, a nice hot bath always helps me.

Make sure your feet aren't sweating as someone recommended. Wool or cotton socks (wool is is best).

The hot beverages, especially hot lemon and honey will be good, especially if you are starting to come down with something.

I hope you get warm soon!

Take a nice hot bath, have some cocoa or tea. Wear wool or fleece booties/bed sox to bed, and fleece jammies. Wear wool socks, or at least some thin synthetic sock liners during the day. Wear sweaters (I love my cardigans for layering).

I get this way if I am coming down with a cold or the flu. It's that low-grade fever that makes you chilly.

Yup- I always have a hot bath and tea or cocoa when I can't get warmed up.

I think it might be the onset of the flu

As soon as I am done running around the village, I'm off to take a bath, curl up in bed with a good book and hopefully get some rest!!

I wish I had some wool socks

Ack, not the flu! I have the really-for-real influenze last year for the first time i nmy recollection. It was absolutely awful. DD had her first real viral illness (other than a cold) at the same time, vomiting and such, and I didn't even know it because I was so sick. I slept for days and DH took care of her. Luckily, it started the day after Christmas and I only missed a few days of work.

Sure hope it isn't actually the flu!
