    Default Newbie Me

I've been browsing and lurking on Frugal Village for quite a while now andone of my New Year's Resolutions is to get more involved in forums on the Net - so I've started with this one. I'm a stay-at-home caretaker to my disabled husband and "mom" to my furgirl Abi. I'm really enjoying this stay at home stuff because until recently I'd always worked as a secretary (and never enjoyed it). Now, I'm free to do all my 'crafty' stuff like quilting and cardmaking and be a step-nana to my husband's 12 grandchildren (5 kids by his first marriage). I'm keeping much busier than I thought I would and seem to have so little time I also volunteer at our local library and belong to a Stitch'n'Bitch group where I'm trying to knit and/or crochet. Our group should really be renamed the Stitch'n'Laff! Anyhow, that's me.

    Welcome

re: being a sec and not liking it. Isn't wonderful to be free to do the things you enjoy?

You are going to love it here.
