Question Is your weather normal or crazy for this time of the year?

Our weather is crazy. For all of Dec. we've been about 10 degrees above normal. We've had about 5 hours of sun which is very abnormal. We are known to have the most sunny days in Canada during the winter time. We've had nothing but cloud and dense fog, so dense they've had to close the roads a number of times.

We have about 3 inches of snow (usually we have closer to 3 feet) and have had rain, freezing rain and mist (from the fog).

January we usually have -25C to - 40C. This year it's +2C and only goes down to -6C at night.

    What about your weather?

Oklahoma is having some very crazy weather. We are in a drought, the wildfires are crazy! We have had an inch of rain since Dec. It is also spring like weather! I'm not complaining, but I know when winter does decide to hit, I'm gonna be wanting this spring like weather back!!

We're having record warm temps (today was about 75, it's usually 30 something this time of year) and record draught conditions. It's really nuts. I have to say it's saved us a bundle on home heating costs though, that's a good thing.

Michgian weather is always crazy. It's getting colder here right now. We're getting freezing rain right now. There is absolutely no snow in my area. My friend in NY said that we wouldn't get snow for two months due to the jet stream blocking it all. So, I bet that is why we're having unusal weather. Our December was freezing here with a lot of snow.

I hate to say it for fear of starting the blizzard of '06, but we haven't had much snow. It seems like a pretty mild winter so far.

We are definitely having crazy weather. It is the warmest winter that most people can remember. Usually, by this time we have had quite a bit of snow, but we have only had a few snow showers with no accumulation. Very weird.

I remember reading somewhere a while back that all the mid-west will hvae a 60% chance of a milder winter than last year. Since we only had one day with snow, it will indeed be mild if they are correct.
Today it was like 60*. I am enjoying it now but it has me worried about my well in the summer months.

Very abnormal here this weekend. Lows in the upper 30's and highs in the upper 50's. Normal for this time of year is lows in the lower 60's and highs in the upper 70's (which is what we're supposed to be back to tomorrow).

Our cold snap cam a few weeks early, at the beginning of December. It usually hits about now. All but the walnut rees have buds on them. I'd bet the daffodils would be coming up too, if it didn't get below freezing every night. Actually it hasn't for the last 3 nights. I'll start watching for them!

I expect it to get good and cold again for a couple of weeks.

I woke up this morning to a spattering of snow, cloudy and warm temps. We are setting record breaking temperatures. Anyone want to move up north?

    VERY CRAZY!!

We are in a drought too. There have been so many wildfires around us. The wind is blowing like crazy which isn't helping with the stop of the fires. The temperature is anywhere from the 70's-80's. Not normal at all!

We're at normal temps and rain is normal; however, not this much rain. We are having mudslides and flooding. Even my yard, on top of a hill is really wet. Also the sink hole in my driveway is sinking again. It only does so when the rains are very heavy for days on end. Yuck - talk about pouring money down a hole. We added 8 bags of gravel this week.
