    Default I've heard that there are a lot of Toys R Us Stores closing

    but can't find anything out about it!!

    Something like 70 stores. Has anyone heard anything about this or know where to find a listing of the stores?

    Interesting, we only have one.. I wonder if it will close down like the only two Kmarts did a few years back.. We now have to drive almost an hour if we really want to go to a Kmart... I don't shop Toys R Us much, but I do shop there...

    2012 Goals
    Use the vegetables from my garden and learn to preserve.
    Cut down on all unnecessary things.
    Free is best.
    Get the garage completely cleaned out. Half done-Until BIL and SIL stored their stuff--now back to square 1.
    Make the yards nice-weed, mow, plant, flowerbeds,etc.
    Stay home more/eat out less if at all.
    FIND A NEW JOB!!!

    I know in Canada they have and they have now become Babies R Us. There have been a few that closed for good as well.

    None have closed around us so far. God if my kids heard that they would be so upset LOL They closed the kbtoys near me and you would have thought it was the end of the world. LOL

    That is a shame. I saw also at the bottom of the article there was a link to another article about OfficeMax shutting down 110 stores. That is a lot of employees that are going to be affected.

    I heard the same thing for here and that they were going to make some of them Babies R Us... they said that Walmart and the like was hurting their sales
