    Talking Another Newbie- Hi from South Dakota

    Hello everyone! I just signed up after lurking a bit so I'm pretty excited. A little about me: (?'s from the welcome post)

    How did you hear about frugal village?
    I belong to a few Yahoo groups and I think I just followed a link one day. I added it to my favorites and have visited ever since.

    What interests you here?
    I'm pretty interested in all aspects of frugality. I hope to not live paycheck to paycheck forever and have some financial freedom as I grow older.

    Do you know any other members here?
    Nope- only from reading posts.

    How many kids? Ages?
    No kids yet- planning for them sometime in the next few years (I'm 24 and still in school)

    Tell us about yourself.
    I'm a full time student with a part time job - something I am only able to do because of my wonderful husband of almost 2 years supporting me. I will be finished in Dec of 2006 with a BA in Clinical Lab Science. I'm not sure yet if I will add any classes to achieve a minor- my schedule is pretty tight as it is. We live in Aberdeen,SD. My husband grew up here and he found me in Minneapolis, MN where I spent the first 22 years of my life and talked me into moving back with him. We are currently building our first home which will hopefully be completed by March 2006. SD has a governors house program that makes buying a home possible for us and other low income families.

    Do you own any pets?
    We have one dog right now, a 3 year old shepard/lab mix named Bowser.

    SAHM or Working mom?
    Not a mom yet! Maybe in a year or two!

    Married or single?
    Married to Mike since April 2004. We've been together 5 years as of Dec 2005.

    Interests and hobbies?
    All things crafty! Especially sewing/quilting.

    Welcome. I'm close to North Dakota, only on the Canadian side. As I child we use to go to the Dakotas all the time. Someday I hope to take my kids there.
