I must have been 12 and a half... I got it for my 7th grade Christmas... I of course got the colors my mom would wear. She had olive complextion with brown eyes and black hair, I am fair skinned, blue eyed and blonde.... Needless to say, I did not look good in her colors.... LOL... My dd *IF* she even wants to wear make up will have to be at least as old as I was.. Luckily she has the same complextion and such as I do, so maybe the makeup will look better with her.

12 or 13. Ummm I'd like them to put it off as long as possible, but I will understand if they want to wear concealer because that's how I started out.

I was 11 or 12 - I had bad acne, so I got some concealer. My mom let me wear whatever I wanted, I tended to be really conservative. I would have the same attitude if/when I have a daughter. She did make me pay for all of it myself.

I was 13. My mom helped me pick out makeup that looked good on me and she taught me how to properly wear it.
