Oh my! Freecycle RAOK
Someone posted on Freecycle that they had a box of a few canned goods, some rice and pasta. With things being tight I emailed about them. She told me that it was gone. Then later in the day I got an email from another Freecycler. The original poster and forwarded my email. She asked if we could meet them that night.
I had to go to church to work in the nursery, so DH went. Well, John went to pick it up while the girls and I were at church. I was expecting a bag of some canned goods, and a bag of rice and beans.
Dh called me on his cell phone and told me the back seat of his Saturn was full! When I got home here is what I found:
4 loaves of bread
pkg of hamburger buns
sheet cake
pound cake
pie
pecan tarts
2 pkgs pork chops
whole chicken
2 packages italian sausages
summer sausage
bacon
seasoning ham
2 packs of sliced turkey
pkg of ground turkey
pkg of fried chicken breasts
2 pkgs of corn muffin mix
1 cans green beans
mac and cheese
dried beans
rice
tuna
fruit salad
jello
I know there was more, I just can't remember it all! What a blessing! Things are tight for us and this helps us out so much!
