Question Do you have a wholesale club membership?

I let ours expire and don't think we'll renew this year. Sam's is a tempting place for me to spend.

I have a Costco membership. I use it for bulk meats, milk and other staples.

We didn't renew either. We spend soooo much money when we go there. I remember spending over $400 one time. Of course this was after I had a few glasses of wine with dinner! It is just better if we don't go there. I can things just as cheap at the commisary or exchange or even Wal-Mart. Besides, I am doing Weight Watchers now and those samples would not be a "good thing" (as Martha Stewart says!

We do. We use it for both business and personal shopping needs. I don't usually spend too much. I make my list and stick to it. One thing I have noticed is that since I have an Rx that I have to have filled monthly AND we don't have any Rx benefits on our insurance I have upgraded to Sam's Elite and use it as my Rx card at Walmart Pharmacy. It saves about $8 per month which means I will more than break even at the end of the year. AND this is if we only have my one Rx all of the time. Otherwise we'll be money ahead.

I let ours lapse--there's not that much there that I can't get as cheaply MUCH closer to home (it's about 20 miles from here).

I let my membership lapse too. It just seemed that I could get stuff cheaper at other stores. I did like the selection of meats much better though.

I love Sam's! I've had a membership for years. I do spend a lot there but have saved lots on some items too. We had a another warehouse membership for a few years as well but, couldn't see paying for two.

I get my BJ's membership through my BIL business, that way it only costs me $20.00 a year. I buy in bulk only on occasion, not every month. Things like waffles, toaster strudel, frozen veges, etc. that cost more at the grocery to buy in bulk. I like the selection at the warehouse stores.

I shop at Sam's. It used to be mostly tires and batteries. Now that I'm buting diapers, I discovered I can get nicer diapers for a little less than WM. There Smiles Members Mark brand is the same diaper as the Target brand. They have 72 slices of Kraft cheese for $6.33! I also buy dish soap and laundy soap. I got trash bags there last time, since I decided I wanted to try them after posting about trash bags here, but I haven't tried them yet.

NO, Sams is like 30 minutes away from where we live, and since it is just dh & myself I don't feel like it would be worth it.

I am always getting lots of free or cheap items for us by using coupons. Don't need a big stock pile for the 2 of us.

We do have a Sam's Club membership. It is great for tires, batteries, gifts, etc.

I don't buy food there very often because I have a tendency to spend, spend, spend!

We have both a membership to Sam's and BJ's (no Costco warehouses here). With no double coupon stores here, it's fantastic to have the warehouses - they are cheaper than the grocery store loss leaders on quite a few items.

Sam's is one we pay for ourselves. It's the cheapest place for us to buy milk, cheese slices, pretzels, goldfish crackers, markdown ground beef, books, tires, contact lens, socks for dh for work, socks for me, Birkenstock sandals, blank casette tapes, blank VCR tapes, dvd's, cd-roms for ds, oreos, potstickers, peanut butter, maple syrup, honey, brown sugar, powdered sugar, spices, chocolate chips, carrots, romaine lettuce, pasta, etc.

Our BJ's membership was a freebie through dh's work. I love that BJ's will also accept coupons and depending on the way the item is packaged you can sometimes use more than one coupon (and you can also stack coupons if there happens to also be a BJ's store coupon on the item as well). It's been a great place for us to buy oreos, ice cream variety packs, goldfish crackers, Kona coffee, toothbrushes, Aveeno lotion, dvd's, dvd player, tea, eggs, nonstick cooking spray, etc.

We have a Sam's membership but mostly cause dh works there and we get it free LOL If he didn't work there,I doubt I would pay to have the card.
If I go 'shopping' I tend to spend over $100 most of the time,I know what i need and dh just picks it up after work.We buy the skinless, boneless chicken breast, chicken nuggets, french fries, other frozen items and sometimes washing deterent and soap.
With dd #1 I used the Sam's brand diapers (don't think it was members mark then ) but Now I buy the dri-bottoms from Wal-Mart for ds.
I just last month bought the garbage bags (I to read about those here ) so far i like them...very cheap to LOL!!

I used to have one but when Gregg's company was sold they didn't renew it and having to pay $35 a year is a little much for me when I have to drive over 35 miles to get there.

I have Costco card that I share with my mom and a BJs card I share with DH, we had let BJs lapse after their gas prices went up, then we got a special offer for 18 mos for $30 for both of us. Dh really buys more there than me.
