My little guy has pneumonia
Just got back from the drs. My 4yo has pneumonia again. This makes the 3rd time in his short little life. This is my baby who was born with a ventricular septal defect & had open heart surgery when he was 6 months old

<---that's him in my avatar (the one without fur lol).
When he's well again, I'm going to ask them to have him tested for asthma. Poor little guy is so sad, he can't go to school for a week

I'm sorry Heather for your DS.
I have had pneumonia twice in my childhood. It isn't fun.
I hope he feels better soon!

Sorry your DS is feeling bad. I hope he feels better soon. Give him lots of Momma love and chicken noodle soup. Some kids seem to get everything in the chest. I'll say a prayer for him.

I hope he gets better quickly!
It's so awful when little ones are sick. They just don't understand what's happening to them

I hope he's much better very soon. Its hard on those little ones to be sick for very long.
My niece was prone to pneumonia when very young and turned out to be asthmatic --- so having your DS checked is probably a good idea.~~Jean~~

I hope he is feeling well quickly... Hugs to you both, and I hope you find out why he is always getting pneumonia.....
I know how you feel as a mom, Heather... Last Spring Break, my dd (10 at the time), kept complaining she didn't feel well, and I kept thinking she was "faking it"
.... She was at grandmas and did not want to be there.... Needless to say, when I saw that she was a funny green color, I knew something was wrong, she had double pneumonia three quarters of the way up her lungs... Her pulse ox (sp), the amount of oxygen in the blood, was only 84 percent!!!! She could not get enough oxygen in her sysetem...Breathing treatments didn't work, and I had to admit her to the hopital over Easter weekend, and then she missed a week of school....
I hated seeing her so sick... It made me sad..
