    Question What 2 landmarks?

What two landmarks would you say a visitor to your state must see?
Don't forget to name your state.

Mine is a province. I would say the new MTS sports complex and Lower Fort Gary.

Missouri --- of course the St Louis arch even though it is across the state from me, and The Country Club Plaza (very beautiful residential/commercial district) in Kansas City.
I have to add a third --- Fort Osage outside of Kansas City --- built in the early 1800s to facilitate trade with the Indians.

Niagara Falls and Statue of Liberty. And just for good measure, Howe Caverns, since it is really close to my house and I like to support local commerce.

Just two huh?? I would have to say in Oregon you would need to see the Columbia River Gorge (a good length)at least to Mt. Hood, and Crater Lake, preferably when there is no fog..... In general, don't forget to get to the beaches here in Oregon either (my personal favorite)... They are wonderfull... I know there are sooo many more attractions to come and see here, but those three are the ones that stand out to me..

Not to sidetrack the thread, but HH, you must not be far- Cooperstown is pretty close to us- about 30 minutes, I think.

I am in Oregon too and have to agree with Momof42003. The four things she mentioned are MUSTS. I would add the high desert and the North Umpqua River (it's a wild river and is gooorgeeeous!).

I agree, Jean. I'd like to add Elephant Rock State Park.

The pictures don't do the enormity of these things justice.
