Unhappy My dad is back in the hospital.....

Very early this morning Mom took my dad back to the ER. He had been up since 1 am pacing and vomiting so by 5 or so, they were in the car headed to the ER.

After a CAT scan and a few other tests, they admitted him around 10 am. They think he has either another blockage or inflammed intestine again. He won't see his surgeon until Monday and he doesn't like the on-call surgeon but depending on what the CAT scan showed and an xray he had tonight, he may be going back in for more surgery.

Please keep my parents and family in your thoughts.

I am sorry to hear of your dad's illness. I hope they are able to find the culprit and that he will be on the road to recovery soon. Saying a prayer.

I'm definitely praying for him. I had a blockage in my intestines about 6 months ago and had to be operated on. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks. I remember the vomiting and excruciating pain. The doctor said the blockage resulted from an operation I had 30 years ago that was growing scar tissue and wrapping around my intestines, squeezing them to death.
