Do You Ever Play The Lottery?

I'm curious as to how many of you play the lottery. I buy an occasional scratch ticket or if the payoff is really big I will buy a Powerball ticket. Dh however likes to buy one or more tickets per week which I feel is wasteful but he really doesn't care what I think. We of course have never won any real money. Do you play the lottery, how often and whats the most you've ever won?

Dh's brother who is mentally challanged has won the lottery twice winning $100,000 both times. We're of course elated for him as this helps to assure his financial future. He is very tight with his money and handles it himself. He does not have a girlfriend because he says women always try to take his money. He bought a townhouse for himself a few years back with some of the money. He also has a county janitorial job that he has been on for over 20 years.

Nope. I don't have the money to play, and knowing my luck, my numbers would come up the one week I don't play

Gripey and I play. We've only ever won like $400 on it though.

We buy with my sisters and their families. We've won a little, but not the big one yet!
DH has been playing the sports lottery a bit, and has actually won quite a bit, lots more than he's spent!
