    Question Where you live

Has it been an unusually warm January?

Here in Chicago it has. We have had about 39 days in a row with above normal temperatures!! We even hit 50 today.

I certainly hope that February is not the opposite

Yes, it has been unusually warm. In fact they say it may go in the record book. And we have been very dry, but finally got an inch of rain over the weekend.

Like you I hope February is not just the opposite!

The news says we've had record breaking temps, but I really don't think it's been unusually warm here (70's and 80's).

Yes, it has been unseasonably warm. I'm thankful because it's given us a break on our unbelievable gas/electric bills!

I live in Maryland Heights, MO a suburb of St. Louis. I am use to southern temps but they say for here ( which I have only been here 2 months) that it is unseasonably warm

We also had an unseasonably warm January. I don't mind it sticking around I just don't want it to do a total 180!! The weather man did say we might be getting an ice storm though

Nope, it has been unusually WET. Oregon (at least northern Oregon) in January is normally wet, but this is ridiculous! We had three, count 'em, THREE days when it didn't rain!

I haven't spend a winter here before, but I'm told that it's very unseasonable. We didn't get snow until mid-December, and even when we do get snow, it doesn't last too long, because it starts to rain!
There was a big nor'easter that came through the Maritimes, and dumped a bunch of snow on everyone else, but completely missed my part of New Brunswick. Strange weather here!
