What cha doin this weekend?
Nothing special going on here. Gripey and I worked out at 9:30, had lunch and cleaned myself up. He's outside playing in the dirt (re-planting some tomato starts) and I'm in here on the puter. I could be cleaning or doing something constructive but I can't want to. We're cooking supper and eating at home tonite. I'm having a major craving for tacos.
Tomorrow I'll be foregoing the SuperBowl and making a trip into the city where I'll spend the afternoon with our oldest dd. Next weekend is her b.d. and she wants help in re-decorating her room for that. I'm sure we'll spend her b.d. money on decor and have lunch to boot. I'm looking forward to it.
What's up at your place this weekend?

Today dd is at a birthday party sleepover, she has already called once so I don't know if she'll actually sleep over or not. So, I am relaxing and cleaning. Tomorrow we may watch the super bowl, since I'm from near Pittsburgh. Other than that, nothing! I'm making homemade chicken soup for my lunches during the week and dinner tonight!

Saturday and Sunday we are having birthday parties.
Today's party was for Julia's school friends. It was fun, but I'm exhausted. Rob is currently popping some corn and we'll be eating it while watching Law and Order: Criminal Intent in bed.
Tommorow's party is a combined birthday party for both Julia and Patrick, and my parents and all of my in-laws (all 17 of them) are coming over for a bagel-brunch birthday party. It will be more relaxing than today since it's family, but still busy. Then, I imagine, we'll just be relaxing.
Doing some laundry and de-cluttering while I'm at it.My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

I'm having an awesome weekend!
I'm with my boyfriend -- we've gone out to eat and gone to the pool hall twice. Tonight the UFC fights are on, so we're gonna watch that. And tomorrow is cheap night at the pool hall and 1/2 off night at this great restaurant we found last week.

I've been sick for the past few days so not much. Dh took the kids to grandma's today so I could suffer in peace. Tomorrow I'm hoping to bake some cookies only if I'm feeling okay. Plus I need to do some cleaning.

Today dh worked all day and the older three went to their grandparents for the night, so it was just youngest ds & myself. We had a nice quiet day, playing games & watching dvds. I also got quite a bit of work done on my website that I've been procrastinating....
Tomorrow dh may have to go into work for a couple of hours (even though it's his day off) and the older three kids won't be home until late afternoon. I'll probably get some knitting done and work on getting caught up on that never ending Mount Laundry
Later in the afternoon I'll be making chicken wings for the Super Bowl

My sister came up this morning and me, her, and ds went running around. We found a couple of great thrift/salvage stores that we will be going back to in the future. We had a nice day, then came home and spent the evening with dh and ds.
No plans as of yet for tommrow. Dh is off work so we will see what happens. It is cold and snowy here so we probably won't get out tommrow.

Well last night my husband and I watched 2 movies The Cave and Unleashed they were both really good. Then we played World of Warcraft on the computer. Today I cooked us a nice breakfast then we played on the computer and tonight I cooked and we watched shows that I had taped from last night. Now we are going to play World of Warcraft again.
Tomorrow he is going to watch the Super Bowl and I will watch some too and I have some houseplants to plant.

Hmmmmm....
Friday night took my 8 yr old to a fiddling concert at the convention center. She is the youngest player in this group of fiddlers. They played for a convention of 500 people. The center was very elegant and Emmies eyes were like saucers.......taking in all the elegance. After she finished performing she ran up to me and said there was a massive table full of deserts that looked so delicious!!! Then one of the managers walked into our room and said the children performers were invited to return and visit the desert table! She/they were thrilled.
Then today I was up at 5:30 to drive my 14 yr. old to church and from there she was driven to conference on teaching children the bible, She said it was great and that she wished there had been even more workshops!
In the meantime I went home and picked up my 8. yr old and 11 yr.old (who helped to lead one of the sessions) and we went to a Cub 1st aid camp....I was one of the leaders.......this was a great and informative camp!
Now I am baking up a storm to bring some goodies to church for the Mom who was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Tomorrow, will be church, church annual general meeting, and then a meeting for planning the wintercamp that my oldest two will be attending with scouts (in the snow!).......next weekend!!!!!
Mon. my 8 yr old has a rehersal with a pianist to perform her pieces for the festival...... and then in the pm I am meeting with a customer who would like to have her garden "catalogued"...Which should be interesting work....
Just another busy weekend!
