Until I saw this I thought I was in a really safe neighborhood now I am not so sure.

I moved here from the country, typed in my old address and there were none!!

I have never used or heard of this site, I had used others though. I try to know who I am living by. I think this is something that every family with children or without should know.

There are some that live in my area. I know one of the s*x offenders just by name and hearing about him through my cousin & late sister and he had a rough childhood

There also one who recently moved in the area and lives less than a half-mile from where I live.

I don't think they should even be allowed to live so close to a school since kids are what they prey on.

I'd never heard of that site but our local sherriff's department posts their lists. There are three levels of offender (based on whatever they've been convicted of) and there are several of these people living within a few blocks of us. Freaks me out! As far as I'm concerned anyone convicted of hurting a child like that should be locked up with the key thrown away.
