    Did you get snowed in?
Heard on the radio it was bad up there.
We have a foot so far and hopefully not much more.

I wonder if groundhogs are edible

I was surprised yesterday when school wasn't cancelled or delayed...then come 9:30 (an hour after I dropped them off) the school decided they were going to send the kids home. In the middle of it...lovely.
So not only did I nearly kill myself getting them to school (and next time I won't be waiting for the school to decide, I'll keep them home myself) but then I had to try not to kill myself getting them back home.
And a bus was hit by a car & got stuck in someone's yard trying to take kids home in the storm.

The last big storm we got (before Christmas ) It was getting worse by the minute but nothing about closing school. I finally called the bus garage and they said school was still on . I said fine but my DS wouldn't be there. ( they said where are you I said on rt 20 and the road was the pits and my DS wasn't getting killed for their stupidity )
5 minutes later they closed school

    Stay safe & warm.

Well ladies, you could always move up here. We have about 3 inches of snow on the ground and our little groundhog said spring is on it's way. Yesterday it rained here a bit and we are sitting at -3C, not bad for Feb. Normally we are sitting at -25C.

I think I would like the snow instead of the winds and fires

Yes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.

    CJ,
Last month and even into last weekend it was 45 to 50 degrees here. There was no snow on our roof . Now its loaded again.
    I agree Fern,
the snow is better than Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Fires.
    Oh Heather,
Yes some people eat groundhogs ( woodchucks ). Not me though
