    Unhappy My Poor Baby

Paige finished her antibiotics and was fine for a few day's, well Monday when she got up after I got home from work she had a lot of gunky junk on the side of her right eye. We cleaned it off and didn't really notice anymore the rest of the night. Then I got her up yesterday to get her ready for daycare and myself ready for work and it was completely matted shut

I got a warm washcloth and wiped around it while she drank her bottle and called and made her a Dr.s appointment for when I got off work. When I picked her up from day care it still looked like she had one big clump pf 3 eyelashes. I cleaned her eye about 3 times waiting on us to be called back to the room.

We got in there and they checked her ears like alway's and noticed they were full of wax. They said she had very small ear canals and they were going to have to wash them out. I had a feeling that was coming, seeing as every so often Joe wakes up and can't hear and has to go get his washed out as well.

The first couple of squirts with the water (in each ear) she did fine. When the nurse came around a third time to see if she could get the excess out Paige screamed bloody murder and moved so much she, myself and the nurse were drenced.

There was some junk in her ear (the same stuff coming out of her eye) so they gave me an antibiotic and eye drops.

This morning her eye's were as clear as could be. The Dr. said there would be major improvment with the eye drainage in about 12-24 hours and she was right. Now as long as can get thru they hassel of the eyedrops for the next week we will be fine.

    Poor lil
Have they ever mentioned anything about ear plugs for her? My Ds got them when he was about a yr old and they helped a lot.
I hope she feels better real soon!
