    Default Been reading so often, decided to join!

    Hello! I have been reading Frugal Village postings for a while, and decided to up and join y'all!! This would have been a wonderful place to share my journey of the past year or so, as I now am ALMOST debt free except the mortgage. Frugal living has always been part of me.. But dh and I have done some really STUPID things with money over the years, and are always learning. I will say Dave Ramsey has changed our life!

    About me:
    Married 12 years
    3 kids
    Some things I do to save money (really trying to slash my grocery bill)

    hang dry all but towels and socks
    keep thermostat at 62-65, for the most part
    thrift store shopper
    Aldi shopper
    budget religiously
    cook at home mostly
    never use credit cards any more!

    There is more, but I look forward to posting.

    Question: how do you quickly get to your signature to edit it?

    Welcome to the Village! Glad you came out of lurkdom.
    The only way to update the numbers in your siggy line is to go to the same place you put them in (user cp and edit profile)and just change the #'s.

    Is there a quicker way then what I am doing? I go to the button at the top "user sp" and then hit edit profile and then change sig, wondering if there was an easier way.

    Welcome!! Glad you came out of lurkdom. I'm a huge Dave Ramsey fan, myself, working the babysteps. You'll find great support here for getting the most of you money.


    Bring on them baby steps...
    Step 1: done
    Step 2: waiting on amount, hubby had followup colonoscopy, I had visit to ER with followup procedure
    Step 3: to follow, won't know aim until things settle
    Step 4: to follow, currently at 6%
    Step 5: grown child
    Step 6: huge mortgage ANNIHILATED!!
    Step 7: ahhhh....
