Have you ever heard the saying that a woman speaks 25,000 words a day and man ....
speaks 10,000. By the time he gets home he's spoken 9750 and she's only spoken 10,000. So that's why they play 20 questions.
"Hi Honey, how was your day?" (6 words, only 9994 to go)
"Fine" (down to 9751, only 49 words to last him for the rest of the evening....
)
Sound familiar?

Yes and I honestly think this is why I come across so annoying to my husband at times. He is laid back and usually pretty quiet. Here he comes in the door and I bombard him with a million things that have been going through my head during the day. I need to minimize how many words I speak
