Looking to buy a new laptop, want the very best deal I can find
anyone have any suggestions on where I should be looking? I'm watching Dell.com but would like to find a deal sort of like what BestBuy offered in their circular last week. It was a Toshiba Notebook with (I think) a 60 gig harddrive and 512 mg. RAM.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. (Oh and the BestBuy deal? it was sold out before noon the day that the ad came out, no rainchecks
)

I say keep watching Dell. They are the best and you can configure to your exact needs. I'm sure a deal will come soon. I'll let you know if I see anything. Also, check out www.slickdeals.net They often post great laptop deals.

As long as you don't have to have the most memory or HD space, I've had great luck on overstock.com I've gotten my last two laptops there. They are usually about 6 months old and refurbished, but come with a limited warrantee (I've never had a problem with mine). Shipping is $2.95 and usually I can find some kind of coupon code to go with ti.

Re: Looking to buy a new laptop, want the very best deal I can find
This sounds the the laptop I presently have. I bought it early last year. However, if you do go with Best Buy, read the fine print very carefully. When I bought my LT they had a deal with one of the internet servers, can't remember which one. Later you are asked if you want to keep the service??Originally posted by PrairieRose
