2.23 - Great Day! 2.24 - Sad Day
Well, today my Julia turns 5!!! I absolutely do not know where the time went! 5 years old! She's so big, but she's just a baby!

Tomorrow, my Julia has to get her tonsils and adnoids removed.
She's very nervous, and I'm being strong for her, but Mommy is feeling nervous as well. We've been reading the book "Goodbye Tonsils" every night and she has been soaking up the information. Wish her luck and a quick recovery please!

Happy Birthday Julia
Of course you are nervous! I'm sure she will do fine tomorrow. I will keep her in my prayers. I had mine out when I was a teen, All I remember is a nasty sore throat that went away in a few days. I ate lots of popscicles. I will be thinking of her tomorrow, you too Mom

Happy Birthday Julia!

My niece, 8 just had her's out a week ago and bounced right back.
Did they let you & Julia go on a tour & ride a gurney and stuff? They were so good about it where she went. I'll be thinking of you all tomorrow.

Happy birthday Julia
She will do great with the surgery and it will help her so much to not be sick often.

Oh, I remember having my tonsils out when I was 5. I still remember how painful it was afterwards. My throat was so sore, and I was very sensitive to sounds. I just remember feeling terrible. Here's hoping that medical technology has drastically improved in the last 31 years. Maybe now it's not so painful. Poor little thing!

I had mine out when I was 5 and yes it made me have a bad sore throat but I remember loving all the popcycles and ice cream that I got to eat while it was sore. Be sure to tell her that
She'll be fine and you will be too.
Hope she has a happy birthday.
