    Unhappy DH left this morning........

because of his employer. They sent him and 2 other guys from his plant to Joplin, MO. They are going there to work for a week at least. It could be longer. Right now they are saying he will be there from Sunday to Sunday. I do not like the circumstances of the job. The plant is on strike and DH and others from around the country have been sent there to keep the plant running, which means he will be going through the picket line of the workers on strike. I am not happy about that part at all!! I just hope he is safe and that they resolve the strike soon. Maybe they will sign a new contract before the week is up and he can come home early.

He has never had to do anything like this before and I am a little nervous about it all. I have read some news articles online and have seen that it could be a very unwelcoming environment.

I hope he's home sooner than you expect him to be Michele. I'm sure he'll be safe, even if he doesn't feel welcome.

I am sorry that he had to leave. I hope that the strike is ended soon and he will be home before you know it.

He just called to let me know they arrived safely. They were met by some of the corporate staff. They are given them time to settle in their rooms and will meet with them over dinner to update them of the situation.
