spent the evening at the ER
I don't know what brought it on, but i was dropped today by the worst headache I have ever, ever had. I couldn't breathe without pain. I had thought i had had migranes before. But wow was this the mother of all of em! I was vomiting, couldn't stand up, neck hurt, and on and on. Light, sound, smell...all killed me just about. I was sure I was gonna just die. It was bad. Course you can't curl up and cry around the kids, i didn't want to upset them. Didn't want to scare them. So I called the nurse line, got told to go to the ER. Called my docs office, on call doc said go to the ER. So I went. They did a CT scan of my head, they said everythign there was good. So they said it appeared to be a migrane. They perscribed a med to ward it off next time i feel one comming on. And they gave me a med for the pain as i was there.
Feeling better now, but man that was awful.

Missy, sure hope you never get one again, I too get bad migraines to the point where everything annoys you and you feel light headed and sometimes vomit.

Hope you are feeling better. Ryan has them also and we are struggling to find out what works on hers. She is on vitamin B-2 right now, 1 tablet every day, and that seems to be helping. She's got Imitrex for her prescription meds but I'm not sure it's helping all that much.

Oh Missy I'm so sorry this happened to you.
I hope you didn't have to drive yourself there. How did you do that? I had to go the ER last year for a terrible migraine and vertigo. I was so bad my friend who was with me at home (thank God because DH was away for the day) had to call 911 and I arrived by ambulance. I couldn't even stand up I was so sick. I realized later that it was brought on by severe dehydration and in Winter I am prone to that. Ugh. I hope that it doesn't happen again Missy!
