Another Ohio Newbie
Hi everyone,
My name is Kimberly and my family and I live in NE Ohio. I have two kids ages 6 and almost 2. I recently started homeschooling my dd so both kids are home with me all day. I'm a sah/wah mom. I have a network marketing business and I make and (try to anyway) sell diaper and faux wedding cakes. I also work very pt at The Picture People as a photographer. My dh is in inside sales and in the process of starting a consulting business. It's a very slow process and it's been really hard to come up with the money without charging anything. We've had several ups and downs and made several bad choices that have gotten us in a very scary situation financially. I can't wait to join in all of the challenges here, but I want to take the month of March to figure out where things are and where the money is going. I've trimmed a lot of fat over the past year, but I'm learning that there's always room for improvement. My dh is not frugal so I'm having a hard time with him. After showing him how much cc debt we really had though, I think he finally has his eyes open. Now it's just a matter of making a plan and sticking to it. I've been lurking here for a while and I'm glad to finally come out. I can't wait to get to know everyone better.

Welcome to the Village Kimberly!

No fun looking debt in the eye but once you know what the real numbers are you can start making a plan to snowball it down & out. Cheering you on.
