    Okay here are the details.

    Wesley was due on February 7th 2006. On Valentine's Day, he still wasn't here. I was having regular contractions but they didn't hurt. I went to the hospital that night because my contractions were about 6 minutes apart and little Wesley wasn't born until 1204 am on the 16th. That's 28 hours of labor. He still needed some coaxing, they had to vacuum him out.

    There were some complications when he was born, his right lung was collapsed. I didn't even get to hold him, they just let me touch his fingers through the incubator and then they rushed him to the NICU.

    Thankfully, after 5 days in NICU, all his problems were cleared up and Welsey got to come home.

    Oh, he was 7 lbs 6 oz, 20 inches long at birth. He is up to 8 lbs, 20 3/4 of an inch.

    I shouldn't complain about my nights though, he is such a sweet baby. He rarely cries, except when he's hungry. He sleeps for 3-5 hours at a time at night. Our only problem with him is that he makes it until about 4 in the morning and then he doesn't want to be in his cradle anymore. He wants to snuggle on my tummy and if he's not snuggling on my tummy then he is cranky.

    (I love the snuggling just as much as he does though )
