Update on Job Interview

I had my job interview at Liberty Bank yesterday! It went outstanding and the branch managers are going to let me know in a couple of weeks! Which works out perfectly because I told them I couldn't start until April 3rd, when the ds is 6 weeks old. I came home from my interview and I had two messages on my machine, one from a company that I had applied to be a civilian recruiter for the military and the other was some guy wanting to hire me for his company. Problem with that was that I had never applied and he couldn't tell me how he got my name and number.

So yay---go me! I just needed to brag!

it's all coming together!

Just an aside. when I was hunting for a job- I got a call similar to that mysterious guy. Me- being the inspector Clusseau that I am- investigated the matter and how in dickens (she) could get my information. I was lucky at this time because I only applied to 3 places. So I called the three places and asked if so-in-so works there until I found out where it came from.

Seems that this employee at that nursing agency has an outside business 'selling something medical pyramid scheme'' and she intercepts the resumes and applications -then makes copies!!!! I found this to be quite disturbing to say the least- she didn't think it was wrong.

I made a complaint to the prez of the agency that my privacy had been violated because my personal information was allowed to be copied.
Never heard from her again.

I'm super excited. I really would like the job at the bank. The average salary for a bank teller in the Des Moines area is 22-25k, but this bank does all there promotions from within the bank.

The civilan recruiter position starts at 50k, but I'm afraid that the hours would suck and I'm sure that if I didn't meet my quotas then I'd be fired.

And as for this other guy, he couldn't even get me a clear description of the job and he wanted to set up an interview at 630 pm. Who has an interview that late?

It just smelled fishy, so I'm not even considering it.
