    Default Update on DH and the "strike"

    The good news is DH will finally be coming home on Sunday, BUT we have to travel to MO to pick him up as the other 2 people from his plant are staying an extra week.

    The bad news is the strike may continue indefinately which means he may end up traveling back there again for a few more weeks until it is settled.

    I am just glad he is finally coming home. We talk everyday, but it isn't the same. He has missed Chris' track meets and baseball games and that depresses him. He missed Chris' homerun Monday night. I skipped school Monday to watch the game because I felt guilty that one of us weren't there to support him. I am so glad I was there to see that hit! He also missed Dakota's family read-in and science fair and will miss his last fit 'n fun run on Friday. He has missed one of Richard's project graduation events. We are a close family and are always there to support our children, so it was different not having him there even though the boys understand.

    It will be nice to have him home.
