New to the Village
Hello to each of you from a tennessee lady!
This sounds like an fun group! Since I had to quit working I reallly miss being with others and the daily fun, yes fun, that we had. I was a police dispatcher/ deputy jailor. You had to joke and cut up to keep the stress down and give the prisoners hope. I had to quit because of my lupus and also they think that I may have Parkingston's Disease. Some days it takes all my energy just to get out of bed and get dressed. But at least I still have good days!!!
I was a "child bride" and have been married for 38 years and we have 1 dd, 1ds, who have produced 7 grands for us! We have 5 grand daughters and 2 grandsons, the youngest is 5 months and the oldest will be 13 next month!
We live out in the country on five acres, our daughter and family live next to us and our son and family will be moving on the other side of us in about a month or two.
I love decorating, floral crafts, making wreaths and swags, trash to treasures, dh says everytime he leaves the room he hears the click of the remote and he knows that HGTV is on. When we moved I had never lived in the country except when I was very young, and dh told me if I would let him buy a double wide mobile home that I could decorate it anyway I wanted. We took out a wall and made a huge master bedroom and the grands and I have done alot of painting, ect, it that room. My kitchen and living room are next, have so much to do, I should never be bored!
Hope to get to know all of you and read about you and your life.

Thanks for the warm welcome Kellie and Karen. What part of TN did you grow up in Karen? I live in west TN, really it should be called middle I guess since we are on the other side of the TN river in Savannah.
Hope to get to know all of you and share tips and information.
