Brownie points are points given by myself or by one of the mods to members that participate well. It also serves as a guage to readers on a particular member's usefulness, validity, and participation as a poster. If you haven't been given any brownie points as of yet, this doesn't mean you don't participate well. There isn't any favoritism and it shouldn't be taken personally. One day a brownie point may simply appear based on an original thread or useful reply. They may be given for humor and initiative too. BTW - thanks for the Brownie points! In the last few weeks I haven't gotten to the village very much, and was kind of kicking myself in the butt for it - and today I noticed I have 5 more! That made my day.
