picture question?
I would like to know how I get a pic instead of a avatar like others have on there posts. I hit the browse button, but everything i have is too big. What program ami going to use to make my pic smaller. all i have is paint, tried dont work.
please help me

I thank you very much, its great to have someone who knows more about the puter then I do. I wish i still had the old programs from my old puter. lol
Tracy i sent you a email, let me know if u get it, i usually use my hotmail, but I also have outlook express with the company i get my internet from. I sent u outl;ook express it double makes sure whatever i send you scans first then sends. promise, i have norton utilties 2006. love that progarm, never had one virus.!!! last puter with old norton 2000 years ago, packard bell, bad puters, always problems lol
i love my new puter we got when we sold house

it across from the house I just sold. I use to live across from the beach, and i sure miss it. I live in town renting until we find acheaper place to buy

for future reference, Miss Thrifty.....
Open the pic in paint. Then from the menu on the top, choose IMAGE.........then STRETCH/SKEW........then another window will open up. In the stretch section, make the horizontal & vertical something like 25. It defaults to 100, so make it smaller.
25 works good for me. 
Then file...save as....and save it as something so's you'll know that it's been resized....like PIC1resize....or whatever. Be sure to note that it's in the My Pictures folder so you can find it again.
