Prayers Please...DS lost a good friend

Please keep DS, Justin and also "Corey's" family and other friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Corey and a friend were in a car accident yesterday afternoon in which he received severe injuries. He passed away about 2 a.m. cst this morning. Justin is just devastated. It will be a difficult day at school, this young man was well-liked. A testimony to that is the fact that there were over a hundred students that went to the hospital yesterday and last night. Kudos to the hospital administration for opening an extra room for the kids to gather together.

This young man was very good natured, very respectful and would do anything to help anyone that he could. One thing that just breaks my heart is that he was just absolutely the world to his little sister. He would have graduated in a few weeks and their Senior Prom is Friday.

The other young man has a broken arm and a cut on his forehead. But he needs many prayers, he was driving.

I'm sorry if this post is somewhat scattered...you can imagine that our feelings and thoughts are just everywhere right now.

I could just cry... I am so sorry. My heart aches for the parents, family and friends left behind to deal with this tragedy.

It will be a difficult time for all... just keep the lines of communication open.

And please.... watch carefully for friends getting so depressed they commit suicide. It can turn that way. Ugly as it is. God bless. and my prayers are with you.

My prayers are with all of you and all families. It is difficult for a teen to lose a friend. I think at this point in our lives we rarely think about death, whereas when we get older we realize death is a part of life.

It is always sad when someone dies as young as this. I hope the school has some counselors available for the students.

Oh how I completely understand. My 14 yo son lost a friend just a couple of weeks ago tomorrow. It was the absolutely saddest thing ever. You are all in my prayers.

My son didn't want to "talk" for about four days. He stayed in his room and only came out to get food. He would read the paper and just locked himself away. Then he did slowly begin to ask questions. Slowly, he might talk for a couple of minutes and then go back to his room for hours.

I can say just be there for you son as I am sure you will.
