hello! so glad to be here
Hi all!
I've been lurking for a while and have to say I'm so impressed by how wonderful everyone on these boards seems to be. Such great advice and encouragement, I just had to join in!
I'm a SAHM to two little boys and have been married almost 5 years. I am also a doula/labour assistant and have a passion for birth education and support. As a one-income family (with some supplemental) I'm really now seeing the need to get serious about living within our means. I'm making it a job! to be a better homemaker and budgeter for all our sakes. As you can see, we've made some probably not-so-great choices in the past that we now need to clear up....
Anyway, thanks for having me!
Birthgeek.

Ooooooh, big welcome.
I LOVED having a doula- even though we took Bradley classes, DH was clueless- thank goodness for the doula with the cold wash cloth! (Four plus hours of pushing- no meds- can really make you hot!) I've thought about becoming a doula when dd (3 in a few weeks) is older.
But I digress. Welcome!!!
