UPDATE Lexi & Paula

Well Baby Lexi has had a major setback. She has been interbated again. She stopped breathing yesterday so the had no choice. Her left lung is not inflating. She is very pale and not moving around. Her left lung has an infection in it. She has had 2 blood transfusions. The Dr has told them that she might not make it........... she's one very sick little girl. Paula is having a hard time dealing with everything. I'm so afraid she is going to go through post partum depression. They both need all the prays and good throughts everyone can give them

Oh dear Fern.. That baby is a tiny little trooper. My prayers are with you all. I hope that you can all deal with this roller coaster ride.

My prayers are with them.
With any NICU stay there are setbacks (one of my triplets was very ill and we heard more then once he might not make it, he did but he was very ill, and had 2 trasnfusions had congitive heard failure cronic lung disease was on oxygem is some form for 7 weeks so it is a long road).

Paula needs so much support, it is so depressing to have a sick baby!! But it is different then postparden depression but a depression no one can feel quite like you do to see your baby so ill and not know what will happen. It is just so sad.
