Newbie here
Hi everyone!!!
I have been lurking for quite a while and reading everything I can and now I am so excited to start making our way out of debt. Let me introduce myself. My name is Melissa and I have been married to my wonderful husband 1 and 1/2 years. This is my second marriage. I have 2 beautiful daughters Emily 12 and Meaghan 9. I am a Hairstylist at JCPENNEYS and my husband works as Housekeeping Supervisor for the same mall. We only have one car and we pretty much have the same schedule so it works out okay. If I need to run errands on the day that I am off and he has to work, I just take him and pick him up. That does not happen often as we live 35-40 min. from work and just takes too much gas.
I have been going over our budget and realized that last month with all the spending that we had been doing, I could have paid off a medical bill of mine. That has really shocked me. Well, the checkbook is out of my purse and the debit card will be put up when David gets home. I asked him to get out 100.00 plus my tipsto last us till next payday which will be in almost 2 weeks. I bought groceries on Wednesday and it will last us until next payday except for milk and we buy that every other day I am going to post all my debt so I can be accountable for it.
