    Default What is the Longest Part of Your Day?

    The longest part of my day is the morning. After dh and dd leave for work and school, time crawls. If it's nice out, I take the boys to the park and that helps time pass, but if it's rainy and we have to be inside...FORGET IT! We get cabin fever quickly!

    Once Pat goes down for a nap (between 11:30-12:00) time flies. I get as much housework done as possible and then when he wakes, we eat and then go get Julia. Before I know it, it's time to start dinner, then we eat, then baths, books, songs, to bed w/the older ones, then walking the baby until he stops crying, then I'm out! The second half of the day flies!

    But, mornings? So slow!

    My best time is before noon. After lunch I get sleepy, and then I hold it together to make supper for 4:30pm when dh expects it. Cleanup and crash.

    Byevening, before bed is the longest time for me. I start yawning at 6 pm, by 8 I can't think straight, and by 9 I'm in bed, thankful for sleep.

    Mine is the evening because no one leaves me alone and a few people in my house just don't stop talking to me. LOL So, my night just drags & I can't wait to go to bed just to get some peace & quiet!! LOL

    The longest part of my day comes at work, library night shift. At 10:45 we start the countdown announcements (Patrons, the library is closing in 15, 10, 5 minutes) and the clock slows down to a labored crawl. The work is done, we don't have a last minute check out flurry like in public library -- there are usually only three or four people there by then, holed up in study rooms or the computer lab. Some nights, especially when it has been a really dead shift, that last 15 minutes feels like three hours, and we stand around just wanting to GO HOME. It especially drags when I'm working the shift alone and don't even have a co-worker to chat with. But, my, how all the rest of my day and night seems to fly!

    It depends. Sometimes its the mornings. More often than not, its the afternoon, anywhere between 3:30 and 5 pm when I poop out and I just want to go home. (I work full time) If I'm super busy and/or its a crazy day at work, time flies by.
    “When you get to the end of all the light you know
    and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
    faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
    you will be given something solid to stand on,
    or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller

    “Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
    there are signs that the world is speedily
    coming to an end;
    bribery and corruption are common; children no
    longer obey their parents;
    every man wants to write a book and the
    end of the world is evidently approaching.”

    longest part for me is between 4:00 and 7:00. That always makes me feel guilty because that is prime time for my kids since I work during the day. I'm just tired, and some days can't wait for 7:30 and bed time. Then I can relax and watch a little tv or read.

    Lately for me it is the morning. My DD wakes up around 6:30am normally and it seems like we are done with playing and stuff around the house by 8:30am! She doesn't nap until 2pm so I always wonder what the heck I am going to do until 2pm! LOL

    But as soon as she goes down for her nap time flies! Before I know it she is awake again and barely got anything done.
