Guess what?
This Tuesafdy i forgot to tll you that hubby fell downstairs and badly bruised his 4th toe, not broke. The coloring spread but he's in no pain. Lat nite he was outside and forgot when he played with kids and kicked ball with bad foot. Well I think he broke toe this time. In pain all nite, went to Funeral today(was pallbearer) so wasn't going to get out of that, good friends to us. And when he got home this afternnon went to hospital, isn't back yet. I'll let ya know, I think its broke, and he says "I'll just have to deal with th pain on Monday in steel toe boots" First day on job, can't complain wouldn't look good to boss.

Ouchie!!! I have broken more toes than I care to count!!
I hope it's not broken & it feels better quickly! I can't imagine having to put steel toe boots on a broken toe, it was all I could do to wear flipflops!!

Hope it's better soon. I had a sprained finger once it felt just as bad as a break. I swelled twice it's normal size and turned black and blue. If that wasn't enough guess which finger it was? Either way make sure your dh has some tylenol with him for work.

Hubby got home and they took xrays, its a spiral break. Not very common the Doc. said. They taped them together, at least theirs less pain he says when thry're wrapped. The Doctoe game him anote for work but he won't use it, not on the first day on job. He'll feel so bad.And embarresed, doesn't look good to boss he keeps telling me. He has Tylenol, so deffently will bve taking to work.
Thanks everyone

Ah, shoot. Well, when he's home from work, make sure he's resting it and putting ice on it to help keep the swelling down.

Ouch!! Having just recovered from 5 stitches in my pinky toe (stepped in glass)
I know that it is painful!! Make sure he rests at any chance he gets!
Elevation and ice is also a good idea! Arnica gel may help speed up the healing process too!

Could he possibly get a pair of the slip on steel toe boots. That's the only kind my DH will wear. He says they are so comfortable. His are like the one's pictured in the link. They were quite a bit cheaper, too, at Shoe Carnival.
