    Default I'm new here

Hi, I'm new to this group. I'm not really quite sure what it's about. I just thought that I would post a comment to say hello to everyone and introduce myself.

I'm a mother of 4 and I have been married for over 12 years now. My children's ages are 8(girl), 7(boy), 4(girl), and 19 months(boy). We live in Western Arkansas. We moved here on Valentines day of this year. So far we really like it. We were here for 10 days and my husband had an atv wreck out in our front field and shattered his knee. He has a bunch of hardware in there now so he's unable to walk for the time being. We are hoping that he'll be walking by June. It's been a real burden but it's made us stronger. I have a huge support group from my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The people have been life savers in all the help that they have given me.

My interests are gardening (although I'm not very good at it), flowers (there again, I'm not very good), reading, playing the piano, and spending way to much time on the computer. ***SIGHS*** We are a very family oriented bunch. When my husband isn't all broke up we like to fish, ride ATV's, sit out in our front yard watching the kids and listening to the birds.

Anyway, that's all I have time for now. I hope I'll enjoy this group. Thanks for reading.

Welcome, phaedrae. Sorry to hear about your dh's accident. Hope he's all better soon.

This is a site for those of us who are trying to live frugally. There are young people here and there are people over 50. All different economic situations. Parents and singles, single parents. We vent, share our frustrations, ask questions, get answers. This is a neat place. I think you'll like it here.

And, very important, we support each other here. Kinda like a big bunch of girlfriends just hanging out.

Welcome to the Village! Fellow bird lover here, hope your enjoying all the spring activity from our feathered friends, I know I am. I have my eyes pealed for the ruby throuted hummingbirds to make their 1st appearence for this year. Takes them a while to get up here in upstate NY, should be any day though. Feeders up and waiting for them.

Ouch, hope your sweetie is back to doing the things he enjoys soon.
