Default Wow, life has been a whirlwind for a long time now

for about 3 months or more actually. I feel like I've barely been home at all in that amount of time. My dmom was sick and hospitilized for a month, I painted their new home from top to bottom (with some help from some dear friends and sil) for 3 weeks and then we moved them (lock, stock and barrell with help from several family members). Spent about 2 weeks trying to get them settled in and then my nephew had his auto accident almost 2 weeks ago. I've been travelling the 5 hours each way to spend time with his family and him during this time. I'm kinda feeling a bit ragged and very tired. My house is clean b/c I had cleaned it good just before this happened and Gripey has worked to keep it up for me. Which I appreciate immensley. I'm ready to stay home for a while and get back to "normal" whatever that is........whew. And, I've missed you guys!

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

*We're debt freeeeeeeee! (including the house)*

The only good thing about frantic periods in our lives ....is how great it feels when it finally all settles down again. Hope it slows down soon for you.

Oh Prairie Rose I feel with you babe. My dad has been in and out of the hopsital the past couple of months. I didn't know when my mom died that I would get custody of my dad. It sucks being the only responsible child
