I have been helping my cousin who is returning to the workforce. She is in a training program right now so not a steady paying position. She didn't want to lose her regular babysitting job until she knew where this was going to go so asked if I could cover the 2 hours a day that her husband was unable to cover for her. It has worked out ok for both of us. I told her I didn't want any pay just to replace the gas used to travel there and back. Today we were discussing gardens and she showed me what she still has left from when we canned together two years ago and has already planted this year. I could not believe what she still had left. She sent me home with 8 quarts of green beans and two pints of salsa. I was very pleased. We had some great green beans with dinner tonight.
