    Unhappy Screaming silently

Some of you remember me complaning about my neighbors catsssssssssssss
any wheres from30 to 50 of them. Well they are multiplying again. Amimal Control came out and caught 5 I caught 3...... They are sick, have ringworm and are all under fed. Code inforcement is surpose to be coming out. Because of the smell and with the heat coming soon it will only get worse. I have caught 3 in a cat cage. Well she tried to tell me that she has an adoption program going on. She can't afford to feed that many amimals. If she opens her window the smell coming from there is really gross. (outhouse gross) It smells like that outside too. These cats are not even loveable. They are wild. But she keeps bring home home. Just what can you do with a neighbor like her?

Yes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.

I know what that smell is like. We had a neighbor living arcoss the street that had lots of cats and if there was even a slight breeze, the smell would come across the street. Eventually her house was condemded and torn down.

It's not healthy for anyone or anything to live like that. Don't give up Fern!

I've seen those types of homes on the news before. Very sad. It's not doing the cats any good if she's not caring for them.

Stuff like that just makes me feel terrible for the cats. It's good to have a home but the conditions are so dirty and crowded, it must be terrible for them.

I can't imagaine animal control only taking away the 5 cats. There must be some kind of ordinance about how many she can keep?? There have been several cases here locally where they have gone in and taken all the cats away (hundreds!)...most had to be put to sleep because of illness. It's very sad. She shounds like an animal hoarder, where she thinks she is helping them, but the conditions are awful and in fact, they are very sick and feral. Keep calling and complaining to whoever will listen...this needs to be taken care of once and for all.

    sad!

I agree Cathy, it's hoarding of animals. When I watched that Oprah show with the extremely dirty woman, her doctor talked about many hoarders having an animal hoarding problem.

The animals end up filthy, diseased and living in a terrible hellish environment which is dangerous to them, the hoarder and all the neighbors.

Put it this way, if you can smell it, you are near enough to be affected by the mold spores and bacteria on the dust that blows over to your place. This is a toxic waste site basically, and you are living next to it.

Keep bugging the powers that be. For your sake, her sake and the sake of all those poor mistreated cats.
