    Default Doing anything special today?

I'm not really, not special that is. I'll be doing a quick pick and put up, damp mop, swipe the bathrooms and maybe fly around with the lambswool duster. I have a couple loads of laundry to do and just a few little things. I could go to mom and dad's and hang some more wall decor. We're closing in on that job. Just a couple more days and then we'll hang curtains. Woo Hoo!
It's gonna be hot here today so I'll be inside for most of it.

I've already got the dishwasher running and will soon start the washing machine and make the bed.

Hope you all have a frugal, fun and productive day.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

I have to get an Avon order straightened out with a customer, then I will be off to the bank and grocery store to get things ready for DDs birthday party. I also have to clean out my car and get the oil changed before we travel with it tomorrow night.

Then, it is off to the parade tonight, and also the library.

Hmmm..I've got lots to do today- I shold probably get off the computer, huh?

Today is my baby's birthday. He is 7. I have to wrap his gifts and icing his cake. Unfortunately, we had to cancel his party on Friday because only 1 person was going to come. (his idea by the way). Tonight we have a baseball game to go to for my 10 year old. So, we won't be able to do much else.

I'm cleaning out my office as Wed will be my last day at my current job. I am so excited to not be working in a corporate field. I will be switching to non-profit.

    Red face

I am working until 5 today then I have to go home and do laundry and pack for my weekend trip to DC. I also have to make maccaroni salad and cupcakes for our Memorial Day cookout at work.

Plus, I have to be in bed super early tonight because I am going in to the office at 6:30 tomorrow morning instead of my usual 8 am. That way I can leave early and get on the road to DC...it's an 8 hour drive and I am doing it by myself. I already have 3 books on CD in the car waiting for me!!!

Did a load of wash, ran the dishwasher, put my flags out for Memorial day.
Work this afternoon and that's about it except pay a few bills.

Well, I've got Julia home w/a 103 temp today, so I'm getting more done than usual because she and Patrick are playing together.

Laundry to do, and I want to put together a box of donations for our church's mission trip to the Dominican Republic.

Tonight I have to do laundry for me and Paige for the weekend and for Joe for work for this weekend, as I am going to my moms for the weekend.

The rototiller guy is coming to do my veggie patch, and I gotta rip out a bunch of rasberry canes that are taking over so he can till. I have leather gloves but I'm not looking forward to it.

I am blessing with a batch of freshly baked homemade white bread. He's been teasing me and egging me on to make bread for him for weeks now -- I got into a weird rut where I didn't feel like baking any -- and I felt bad for him. So I bought some white flour and am in the process of baking bread for him. The dough is on it's first rise.

I worked today, but had to leave early because the plumber was coming to fix a leak that we have apparently had for quite some time. Ugh! No water until after 9 pm tonight, but I can handle that as long as the leak is repaired. I need to pack in a little bit as DH and I will be heading out for a long weekend as soon as we both get off work tomorrow. I really needed to a do a load of laundry and I have the dishwasher ready to run, but have to wait on the water. Currently, we are under a tornado watch and we had some pretty good thunderstorms early this morning. I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend!

Just home today. I'm doing laundry and scrapbooking today. Putting some extra diaper bags up on ebay to sell. I have more than enough.
