Default I'm sitting here crying like an idiot!

Because my baby girl got her report card and passed to first grade! She cried when she got off the bus, because she missed her teacher, but I told her next year she could visit her, and say hi when she saw her in the halls and things. Then she calmed down and now I'm the one who is crying! I didn't cry this much on the first day of school!

It is hard watching them growup isn't it? My dd just finished her last day of hs last week and graduated this past weekend. Lots and lots of tears for both of us.

Just remember it goes by so fast. Enjoy every minute of it, and congratulations on your little girl "graduating" to the first grade.

Aww, sometimes moments like that take you by surprise. How wonderful for her and her happy proud Mom.

Tears here too. On Wednesday DD graduated from the fifth grade. They had a special assembly and handed out awards for all sorts of things. As DD got hers I found myself crying. DH just looks at me and shakes his head. What am I gonna do when DS gets married next year.

Cherish every moment you can because they grow up way too fast. I remember when my oldest started kindergarten and Friday he graduated from HS.
