    Default What's up for today?

Well, I woke up before my little one (since he is a early riser, that is rare) tought I would get online.

What's everyone have going on for today? We have nothing planned. I have to go to the grocery store and pick up a few things to do until payday. It is supposed to be HOT again today so we will probaby stay in until this afternoon.

Well today I am taking my Dad to decorate the graves. Then afterwards, if some friends haven't come into town it will be laundry day.

Church, then out to DH's father's gravesite to decorate the grave. We may go to a cookout at friends house later this afternoon.

We are about to leave and drive 3 hours to our dd#2's apt. We're moving her into another place today and tomorrow. Not in a hurry to leave out, just taking our time. I may work out first too. Otherwise it's just gonna be piddling around to get ready, get there and get to work

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

I woke up before so I have been clearing out my emails, posting here on the Village, and will be looking into freebies shortly. Once is awake, I'm gonna try to convince him to take me for a walk in the Public Gardens that are right across the street from his apartment and we'll wander around there for a while, maybe get a bottle of juice or water to share.

Nothing grand going on for most of the day, but tonight we're going to play pool. I have to get to come back to my apartment so he can help me carry up my new television stand and help me hang some mirrors. Oh shoot, we can't hang the mirrors because I don't have plugs for the wall. Shoot!

It's a bit windy and cool here this morning so I've changed my chores from outdoors to indoors. I also have to go in to work this afternoon for about 4 hours.

I am still planning a small barbeque for the kids and I later today, this should be fun.

Hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend.

Mary, I couldn't send you a pm (guess you don't have that enabled) but noticed your siggy line mentioning your 17 yr old. Congratulations to your dd for being Validictorian. Woohoo!
Ps~ have fun with your bbq!

Went with DH this morning to work on the front entrance of a resturant before they open at 11 am. Now we've got the sprinklers going in the back yard and a load of landry. At 4pm we're headed out to a friends house for an Open House BBQ. Its already up to 88 here at noon will top out over 90 before the end of the day.

So far, I've gone to Walmart, made three bean salad, cleaned off the deck, cleaned out the pool, done the dishes, made iced tea, hung fly strips (yuck), watered plants, and now I'm waiting for our friends to show up for the cookout. Have a good day!

Today I worked my BUTT off, at work.
But before I left still managed to get two loads of laundry hung out. Came home, took a load down and hung another load out. Now I'm resting for a few minutes until dinner is ready (dh is grilling, potatoes are on).

Went to work today, cooking ribs for tomorrows pinic in the crock pot, did a little weeding in my garden. Got to hot for me to get as much done as I would of liked to in the garden. Took a shower, doesn't seem to help much with this heat (90). Just looking through some of the websites I look at daily than going to bed to relax and read my book.
