why????????????? do bad hair days occur with fat days?
OK just noticing a law of the universe. I am having a bad hair day, and wowzers, I feel fat too. Or perhaps the other way round.
Ok this may not be news, after all I am 236 lbs of joyous bubbling abandoned womanhood and have a few fat cells to spare
but still.
It occurs to me that this is a galactic conspiracy of Xfiles porportions, and we should all be on guard!
Fat cells conspiring against us with our very own hair follicles.
Well I always knew that those fat cells have it in for me. I mean I'm always waging war on them (and they fight back so valiantly in their greasy viscous little way) and if I lost them forever I wouldn't miss em a bit. (and they feel slighted, unwanted, REJECTED EVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
See microscopic picture of one of my fat cells
But REALLY it is going too far to make my hair join in the fight.
Seems my fat cells sent an extra load of grease upwards to my hair follicles and now not only am I bulgy on this bright and promising (not) Monday, but my hair is limp and straggly.
Sure makes me happy as I lean morosely over the Monday laundry tub wondering where all the fizz and sizzle went.
I mean I'm SUPPOSED TO LOOK like Audrey Hepburn, but I seem to be a long way from that ideal of perky and classic womanhood.
MORE COFFEEEEEEEEEEE PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE!

Margery , God love your Heart!!!
I've there with ya, heart soul and fat in all!! Im overweight too,and it does seem like when our hair goeswrong everything goes wrong, and visa versa.!!!lol
Don't feel too bad honey, I'm fighting the battle of the buldge too. and its winning!!! dang!!
I do so good for so long then I start cheating and rock that boat, and dont get back on it.!!!lol
I've had bad days where my hair just wouldnt go right , my clothes are so darn tootin awefull old and need new ones, and have to go some where special, and the kids would have ruined my good coat for the day by spliing somwething on it or little sticky fingers all on the same day. I would break down and cry!!!
Nopw this is how i'm doing latelY: How we perceive who we are is not a reflecton of what we should look like!!! Or what others think we should look or dress like. I'm learning that slowly and trying to accept that somew things I can change if I want too, not reinforced by others perceive me too be like. lol
Age has many benefits for this old gal, wisdom is slowing seeping in there!!! between those itty bitty cracks in my brain!!! lol
I hope u have a better day Margery!! ((((HHHHUUUUGGGGSSSS)))

Lol, Margery. It's a conpiracy I tell ya.
<---Mine while trying on my bathing suit today. Actually I've been working on making some lifestyle changes for the past couple months lost almost 20lbs & the suit looks better than it did last year. Still scary just the same.
Come on over all & join us at www.weightlossmoms.com and we'll fight the fight together.

My DH said you call it Murphy's law in the US over here we call it Sod's law and some days he's a right sod too.
Do you think this conspiracy happens more on the days we have some where to go and want to look our best?

Well, you see, here is my excuse. "It's the humidity! It makes everything swell up even our hair"

That's true for me marym! I've got natural curly hair and I'm here to tell you, I can predict humidity and rain far better than the 6:00 news.

ROFL ladies, just gotta avoid those 3 way mirrors. Now that is a SCARY moment, if you need a little XFiles fear of the unknown!!!!!!!!!!!!
So far, avoiding mirrors, and other speed bumps in the way of happiness.
LOVE that humidity thing. Yep, all swelled up!!!! heheheheh can't use it though, we are in one of Canada's desert regions and it's rare to be humid. BUT I PLAN TO USE THAT EXCUSE as MUCH AS I CAN!!!!
It's a GOOD ONE!!!!!
I always remember the cutest little fridge magnet. It had a little sheep made of cotton balls stuck to a little cardboard sign that read "EWES NOT FAT EWES FLUFFY!!!!!!!"
