Doing dishes is hazardous to your health
Dropped a solid maple 3+1/2 lb. cutting board on my big toe when I took it out of the dish drainer & went to put it away. It's all swollen and a lovely bluish purple hard knot of
. I can bend it ok but the bruise, a puff ball is ever so lovely to look at.
Icing it now. Be careful ladies, it's a jungle out there.~*Darlene*~

Darlene when I saw the title of your thread, I said to myself, "I already knew that, why do you think I let Jack do the dishes?"
I'm so sorry you hurt yourself. Keep off it as much as you can and if the swelling doesn't go down, you get it checked out okay?

Ouch! I hope it heals quickly, Darlene. Sounds to me like you'll need a few days off of kitchen duty while you recuperate.
