Can you see this post?
If you can see this I'd love for you to make a post somewhere in the Village about something. I see that so many people are online and I would love to get us all talking with each other. I know you've got something fun or entertaining or goofy to chat about. Lets get the Village jumping!
Don't be shy, we all are all different interesting people with something worth saying! Go ahead & start a new thread or respond to someone elses.

Yesterday was Zachary's kindergarten graduation. We bought mylar balloons and attached them to the front fence and bought him Over the Hedge game for ps2 that he had mentioned wanting.
I cried when his class sang You are my Sunshine. Thought of when I sang it to him when he was just a baby. My little guy is on his way to first grade.
I watched Boston Legal in marathon mode. I missed the first season, so we rented the dvds.
Gabe is busy with his six sigma project and school, so we haven't had the time we needed to get the server working properly.
It's raining today. Kids will be sad that they can't be in their little kiddie pool.
Uneventful other than the server issues which are enough to make me crazy.

Not a lot of excitement here in scorching Texas. We are having record setting heat and so I am entertaining myself by watching the electric meter spin at sonic speeds
. I am actually do a little housework today and will be spending the day tomorrow at the hospital with DS 1 who is having surgery to remove a huge kidney stone that they have not been able to eliminate using lithotripsy.
I hope everyone has a great day and that this is a wonderful week for all.

Sounds like everyone has busy lives. I had to get up this morning to go to the doctor. It was just a simple yearly check-up. I hate those things. Plus, the dr. told me I was one of the lucky ones because they are coming out with a new way to do pelvic exams. They need 100 "experimental" patients. Guess what, I was one of those 100! I don't think that is very lucky!! Well, at least I am done with that until next year.
I have been working on homework for my PHYS ED class and my English class. I have a huge essay due in English next week. UGH!!
I also took time to replace some drawer parts. I am so glad I did. It makes everything look so much better. I only have one drawer left to go and will get it done today!! I am going to make sure I do it!
I need to make online reservations for our trip in July, but am undecided as to what everyone wants to do. Maybe I should just pick something and go by myself...lol!! I don't think they would think that would be as funny as I do.~*Michelle*~

Lets see...
I have cleaned house some, done laundry, planted two grape vines and a currant bush (tomorrow, the other currant and three arborvitate), framed up two pieces of lattice so that I can later use them (either to provide a privacy screen for the hot tub, or to attach to the house for vines to grow up onto.) And I cut down some stakes that are holding the framing around the concrete pad up. I cut all those down so that we'd be able to "scree" better when the concrete gets here.
the finches are layin eggs again after about a month long break. The lady never came back for her parakeets so the foster-keets are now my keets.
ummmm and still dunno what I am gonna make for dinner.~~ Missy ~~

Well it is a mess here we have workmen coming next week to do renorvations. They are going to put in a new kitchen and a new bath room, and new windows, along with a second electric socket in each bed room, it will take them seven weeks, for three of those we will have no power in the kitchen.
We live in a council owned house and its part of the area make over. They are meant to tell us when they are coming so we are ready but without warning we had the little man come yesterday to put in a new drain for the bathroom and today i had just gotten out of the bath, wearing nothing but a towel, about to cross the landing (bathroom downstairs next to front door) when my mum opened the door to the workmen with the scaffolding.
I took the kids out to town, i had Stephie in a backpack carrier, (she hates her pram) but didn't get much done as it was just too hot and steamy to do too much walking.

So tired I'm numb here.
Stayed up over night foaling out another mare, she's such a sweetie she laid down for me and foaled when I ask her to! Usually mares are VERY sneaky and wait for the moment no one is around. Foal was born just after midnight and I was up with them until 6AM making sure that baby poo'd and nursed and that mama passed the placenta. I LOVE foaling and brand new baby foals, it's a colt (boy) and we're calling him Norman for now, giggle, his moms name is Desert Storm so it fits.
Then back up before 9AM to do chores and help keep things running during haying today, very stressful day, they broke the round baler, one square baler 2x, the other square baler 1x and then broke the belt on the rake. But we got up 26 big round bales and 3 wagon loads of square bales, we were racing the rain but now the rains broken up and we're not going to get any.
Then evening chores and dinner, great big salads fresh picked from the garden!
Ahhh, life on the farm!
And no sleep tonight either, two mares yet to foal.
