Ok, I'm game. Sounds fun.
1. I met my husband at the beauty salon where I work as a cosmetologist. He is 17 years older than I am. My Mom is 17 years older than him.
2. I was born and raised in a small town in Georgia and never left. LOL 41 years!

mmmkay...
1) At fourteen and a half years, I've been married to my husband longer than my mother was married my father and her second husband put together. I'm very proud of this, even if my marriage isn't the best it could be.
2) Despite being a dictatorial and speak-your-mind Sagittarius, I'm really quite submissive, very private, and have a tendency to not say much at all. This often gets me in trouble because when I *do* speak up and say something, people tend to mistake my attention to being well-spoken as being arrogant and condescending.
3) I really want a garden. And a yard. And I'd give up body parts to be able to have a clothes line where I could hang my clothes rather than having to use the dryer all the time.
4) There's not a day that goes by that I don't consider putting something large and heavy (sledge hammer tends to be the object of choice) through the tv so that my family will stop watching it. I absolutely hatehatehate having it on for anything beyond the weather section of the news, and only that because I live in Florida and have more than a little interest in the weather.
5) ... uh... I recently started a LiveJournal. ( http://a-simple-wife.livejournal.com ) I'm just not sure what to do with it now, or where I'm going with it.

This is hard, you already know so much about me...
~I once pushed the same girl down a short flight of stairs & into some pricker bushes in grade school because she picked on me.
She stopped after the second push.
~I was married for a short time before I married Jack
~I intensely dislike the octagon shape
~I'm very good at finding four leaf clovers
~ At Jacks sisters wedding reception I danced to that stripper dance with the bridegroom not taking clothes off but taughnting him with a boa because the whole roomfull of people (over 100) egged me on. It was halarious.~*Darlene*~

Ok - since it is only 5 things..
*I was on the Math Team in high school (and have a plaque to prove it hanging up in my house, next to DH's Math Team plaque)
*Every night whe I come home from work, I open the door and say, "Hey stupids, Mommy's home!" Even though I love my cats, they can be pretty stupid at times, hence the name. A neighbor heard me once and just gave me a strange look.
*I am a certified envelope geek. I know everything from FIM bars to indicias to postal endorsements, paper grades up the wahzoo, the differences between Flexographic, Lithographic, Thermographic, and Offset printing, and if you ever need to know the difference between a Booklet, Catalogue, Coin, Hitchhiker, Bangtail, Remittance, Commercial, Baronial, A-Line, or Guardian style envelope - just ask.
*I like sportscars so much I went to my senior prom in a 1986 Fiero instead of a Limo
*I have a batchelor's degree in Latin and Ancient Greek.Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06)

Very interesting stuff here.

Hmmmmmm.......
~I totally need the people from "What Not to Wear" to come to my house- I have the worst wardrobe ever. (Not so much because I actually have terrible fashion sense as much as because I just don't have the money to buy a decent wardrobe. Thank goodness I can wear scrubs to work.)
~I was harrassed and harangued by the coach into joining the school bowling team in junior high. (Even my sister didn't remember this.) I used to have to hide and try to avoid the man until I finally gave in a joined the stinkin' team. I don't like to admit to it these days.
~I went to see Milli Vanilli when I was a kid. It was either the second or third "real" (LOLOLOLOL) concert I went to.
~I am absolutely the WORST housekeeper in existance. I am really, horribly bad at it. It get totally overwhelmed and don't know where to start, so I just don't start anywhere.
~I am a science nut. I'd rather watch science documentaries on TV than just about anything else, and I'd rather read about science than most anything else.
There- are y'all shocked now?

About me:
1. I love buying scrapbooking stuff but I don't so much like scrapbooking
2. I'm very introverted. My husband is one of the only people that I actually ENJOY being around
3. I'm very perceptive. If I believed in them, I would almost think I was a psychic. I also have a really good memory. Maybe the two are connected?
4. I "think" in words. Really. If you're talking to me I'm "seeing" the words you are saying. I was really old before I realized everyone isn't like this.
5. I listen to my favorite music soundtracks when I'm working and I dance to them, too. Some favorites include anything by Rodgers & Hart, Nat King Cole, or old movie soundtracks, especially musicals.
